Request To PM Narendra Modi
To PM
Sir
1. First of all I would like to say that you are the second PM after Atal ji whom India must feel proud. We all love the way you do the work. Indians will remain indebted to you for your selfless services and dedication to the progress of the nation
2. Media plays a vital role in everyone's life. Many fake or low quality products are advertised by famous actors and actresses. The common mass does not know the technicality of the products like 'Maggi' was advertised by Amitabh Bacchan, a great actor of this age, and Madhuri Dixit, and Preeti Zinta. They were not at all aware that it may contain lead, MSG, and other such harmful ingredients in it. And advertisements by such personalities really affects at least their fans and sometimes everyone. It is my humble request is that no advertisement should be done by famous persons like a film star, sports person, and other such people. I am not against the advertisement. Without marketing, a good product may not reach to all. Advertisement brings awareness in the masses. Nevertheless, they should not be done by the aforementioned person as the companies give lakhs or crores of money to the stars. And, they take this money from the public by increasing its rate.
3. And we should not advertise foreign brands. More emphasis should be given to Indian or indigenized products rather than foreign products. The most advertisements those come in television set are of foreign products. We see hundreds of advertisements of 'Colgate' rather than any other Indian made toothpastes. I do agree that there is a role of every citizen in purchasing or preferring Indian products, but many people just buy a foreign product not because that they like foreign products but because they rarely see marketing of Indian products.
4. To sum up, I want to say no advertisement should be done by film stars and sportsmen and Indian product should be more advertised than a foreign product.
I am awaiting for your kind reply.

criticism on Elaine Showalter's essay 'Towards The Feminist'
Elaine Showalter says in her essay ' Towards The Feminist' that the man depicted women the way they see them in the literature. It is too ridiculous to hear such statements from a writer, which shows she is not a writer in a true sense or she has seen only one aspect of writing. Writing has various aspects. So is true with the writer.
The writer is not an ordinary man. As TS Eliot says in one of his essays- "writer is a person who feels more than an ordinary man, he lives life more intensely than any other being on the planet. He can feel what a woman can feel or he can understand better than herself." How a male writer is unable to depict women in true sense. If a man cannot portray woman's character, then women are also unfit or unable to write on man If it is so, then it should be vice versa. Not one way. If it is so, then Women writers also depicted the men the way they see them instead of the true image of the men.
