My first Encounter with swami Damodaranandaji mharaj

It was the month of the may 2012.I was just entering in the RK MATH, ulsoor, Bangalore.I saw one elderly swamiji walking with two sticks along with two other swamis of the order. I gave my salutations to all of them. Then this elderly swamiji asked me, "What is your name?"I just replied –“I am lokendra Singh .”then he further asked me “what are you doing, are you studying?" I said ,'no, swamiji I am doing the job'. “He again asked me 'what job?' I said,"I am working in the defence."The moment he heard this,he became very happy and told me oh !you are a military man ,very good,verygood.I usually don't ask name to any swamiji but that day I don't know what happened to me I just asked him-"what is your name,swamiji?"He said, “You want to know my name?" I quietly said,"yes, swamiji" then he replied swami Da- mo- dar-ananda.He spoke his name by dividing his name's letters so that I could easily understand it. Then he instructed me to go in the temple and then we would talk.

I did my salutations to the holy trio and come back to meet swami Damodaranandaji mharaj. But he was walking little far so I decided to go in the library while I was going up through the upstairs swami exclaimed to one other swamiji by pointing me –“see he is the military men .”I again did the pranam from there he told me to go and read books generally I read books with my full concentration and focus but that day I don't know what swami Damodaranandaji did to me that I was only thinking about him only even while reading.
 His face was extra-ordinarily radiant, his smile was genuine, and his every word was dipped in ocean of love. His personality was magnetic .I  stunned that why I was thinking of him however I had never met him in life hitherto. Even after reaching my residence my thoughts were overwhelmed by him only so I was just eagerly waiting for the next day to meet him. I had an indescribable attraction to him .He just mesmirized me.My first encounter with swamiji left a tremendous impact on my mind.you might be thinking that we spoke a little and we were in the company for the couple of minutes only yet I am writing so much about him. But my friends,That"s what is spirituality and being in holy company.So that's how was my first encounter with swami Damodaranandaji mharaj.
